Northumbria Images

Welcome to the website of Northumbria Images by local photographer Ray Cooper....

..featuring high quality digital image galleries of Northumberland's Heritage Coast, castles and countryside. Situated in the North East Corner of England Northumberland offers the visitor some of the most beautiful scenery in the UK from it's stunning castles overlooking unspoilt beaches to the wild rolling Cheviot Hills and Northumberland National Park.

This, the most under populated county in England, is described as one of the biggest un-discovered tourist attractions in Europe. The Northumberland borders with Scotland are steeped in the history of hundreds of years of conflict between the two countries. To the south of the county you can find our very own World Heritage Site at Hadrian's Wall, just one of the county's many legacies of the Roman occupation of Britain.

Exclusive prints of Bamburgh Castle, Dunstanburgh Castle and Alnwick can all be found in the galleries along with images from Lindisfarne, (Holy Island) and the many harbours and coastal features of Northumberland's 'Designated Area of Outstanding Beauty' including images of the famous Farne Islands Puffins. The Cheviot Hills and Northumberland Moors are also represented in the galleries and the site will be updated on a regular basis with new images throughout the seasons.

Copies of all of the images including superb quality Canvas Prints can be ordered on-line using a credit or debit card at highly competitive prices. They will be delivered in protective packaging to your door worldwide! Click on 'Ordering a Print' under 'Pages' on the right hand menu for more information.
